As StraussGroup’s longest-tenured employee and search consultant, Matt takes pride in being the company’s solid, consistent team member. For over 18 years, Matt has served in various roles, including Project Coordinator, Director of Contract Staffing, and Senior Executive Search Consultant, with an emphasis on consumer and commercial banking, residential mortgage lending, commercial real estate (CRE) / multifamily lending, and financial technology (FinTech).
Matt has successfully completed various executive search and recruiting training programs and is a Certified Senior Account Manager (CSAM®). Matt has been awarded the highest honor at StraussGroup, the annual Pacesetter Award, several times over the years and is a consistent top performer. His clients and candidates benefit from his ability to provide a range of services including retained search, contract-to-hire staffing, and various candidate assessment and coaching modules.
Matt was born and raised in Rochester, New York and currently resides in Buffalo, New York with his wife and two children. When he’s not connecting with high-performing talent, you might find him having fun with his two children, playing poker, reading a good book, or picking up an acoustic or electric bass guitar.
