Emily Wahler is an integral part of our team. Since 2016, Emily has been overseeing our project-based recruiting division and is currently overseeing large-client recruiting projects with multiple recruiting needs. As the Director of our RPO team, Emily maintains a consistent flow of quality candidates to our clients, with an emphasis on finding the right ‘fit’, not just the right technical skills. Her focus on assessments and careful screening has earned her numerous awards at our company and many accolades from our clients. Emily has the distinct honor of placing more candidates during her tenure at StraussGroup than anyone else on our team – well over 300.
In addition to her disciplined and organized approach to recruiting, Emily has taken on several other leadership assignments at the company, including her role as Assistant Controller, overseeing, and managing AP/AR and payroll. Her accuracy and attention to detail is the reason why her clients rave about the strong retention rates for the candidates she places.
Emily joined StraussGroup immediately after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University at Buffalo. When not at work, you will find Emily attending Buffalo Bills games with her husband, tending to her two French Bulldogs, or spending time with her family.
