We begin each search with a thorough kick-off process to understand the company and collaboratively define the role. The first thing we do is sync with our clients to develop the key competencies of the role and complete an Opportunity Profile that we provide to our candidates. We then begin networking with our robust database to identify well-qualified candidates, while concurrently conducting original research and market outreach. Within the first two to three weeks, we present an initial slate of qualified and fully vetted candidates for review to assure that we are aligned on the Opportunity Profile.

After the initial slate of candidates is presented, we continue to source top talent who fit the requirements of the role. Potential candidates are screened, interviewed, and assessed through discreet referencing and our own behavioral assessments.

Set up on–site interviews: Once the right short list of candidates is identified, we work with our client to set up an interview process.
Offer stage – When you have identified the final candidate, we present the offer to the candidate.
Reporting – We provide complete updates weekly (or bi-weekly) with members of your team to review candidates and share market information relevant to the hiring process.
Randy Strauss received his Master’s degree from Cornell University and Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. He founded StraussGroup in 2000 after a successful career in banking and finance. He began his career at General Electric Credit and moved on to PaineWebber/UBS, followed by M&T Bank.
